Hey !

I’m Sophie

THE FAIRCHILD FRAME FOUNDER & PHOTOGRAPHER

I’ve always been a noticer, intuitively picking up on the energy around me, the kind of emotion that doesn’t need words to be felt.

I didn’t know my energetic awareness would later shape my career; photography became a way for me to hold space for fleeting moments and reflect people back to themselves as they are.

Ten years ago, I would take photos of my friends with my iPhone to explore my creativity and encourage their self-confidence, long before I knew my passion would evolve into preserving moments that families keep for generations.

I’m not the kind of photographer who’s going to force poses or orchestrate a day that doesn’t mirror you. Because I know how vulnerable it can be to be seen, and after spending a long time learning to feel comfortable in my own body, I don’t take that trust lightly.

I’m here to reflect what’s already happening, with intention, presence, and an understanding that these are the photos you’ll return to years from now to relive the moments.

MY STYLE: HOW I SHOOT

Documenting love as it’s shared.

My approach is rooted in observation and preparation. I guide intentionally, using prompts to create movement and help you drop out of your head and back into the present. Too much direction pulls you out of the moment, so I step in only when it supports you.

Over the months leading up, we’ll spend time together to get to know each other below the surface. I’ll understand your dynamics, visions, and what’s most important to you.

My style:

  • Quietly observant, I work from the edges, letting moments unfold naturally.

  • Client relationships are built on trust and familiarity, connection comes before you’re in front of the camera.

  • Intentional with direction, just enough guidance to keep you grounded and connected.

  • Emotion-led, not trend-led, timeless photos that live far beyond the day.

  • Story-first, the in-between moment completes the story.

I’m not here to fill your timeline with back-to-back posed shots. I’m here to gather your love story honestly, and with just enough direction to help you feel at ease.
